Foodics (Foodics Pay)
Foodics started as a cloud restaurant-management platform in Riyadh and now operates across the Gulf and Egypt, with offices in Riyadh, Dubai, Kuwait City, Cairo and Amman. Foodics Pay is the payments layer inside that platform, so it travels with the merchant's point-of-sale rather than being a standalone gateway for any website. Its Egypt operation settles to local bank accounts under its own SAMA-equivalent approvals.
Foodics states on its own contact page that it is under the supervision and control of SAMA and licensed as a fintech company, which is what lets it embed payments into its restaurant stack. It also runs a strategic acquiring partnership with Alinma Bank that gives merchants twice-daily settlement.

Hala
Hala is a Riyadh-founded SME finance platform that acquired the UAE online-payments business Paymennt.com in 2023, which gives it a bridge between Saudi and UAE merchant operations. It remains primarily a Saudi proposition, and its UAE activity runs through the acquired platform. Freelancers and micro-businesses are an explicit target segment.
Hala operates under the supervision of the Saudi Central Bank and has been described as one of the first fintechs to receive a full SAMA licence, regulated as an electronic money institution. Its products bundle a business IBAN, mada and Visa cards, POS acceptance and financing, so onboarding is closer to opening a business account than to adding a gateway.
